Using Twitter for Business: Workshop in Bradford – 29th June 2009

One of the hot topics business owners want to discuss with me at the moment is the subject of Twitter and how it can be used to promote their businesses.
So to help point business owners in the right direction; I’m running a series of short, 2 hour workshops on the subject of using the micro-blogging site for the benefit of your business.
In conjunction with Bradford Grid, Bradford’s business incubation and support social enterprise; the first workshop is being held at the Carlisle Business Centre in Manningham, Bradford, West Yorkshire on Monday 29th June 2009, between 2pm and 4pm.
Who is this Workshop For?
Business owners who want to understand what Twitter is and how they can use it as a business networking tool in order to develop customer and supplier relationships, drive traffic to their website and generate new business.
What will Attendees Learn?
During the two hour session, attendees will learn how to:
- Set up a Twitter account and start Tweeting.
- Gain ‘Followers’ that are interested in your business.
- Use different Twitter tools to manage your account.
- Integrate Twitter with their Blog, Facebook and other social networkingwebsites.

Attendees Should:
- Have an active business website.
- Be comfortable using the Internet.
- Be familiar with Facebook, LinkedIn or any other social networking websites.
